terms of service

  • Quotes- Valid 30 days from day of quote by technician.
  • Call Backs- A service charge will not be due within 90 days of original repair, if the issue is related to the original repair.
  • Parts & Labor Warranty- We offer a one year parts and labor warranty for any parts that are installed and supplied by us. This warranty is voided if the part is damaged by anything other than normal wear and tear, a manufacturer defect, or an issue with the appliance that is related to the original repair. For example: infestation, customer abuse, power surges, acts of God, etc. This warranty is voided if the unit has been attempted to be repaired by anyone other than Appliance Tech of East Texas LLC, within the warranty timeframe. This warranty does not guarantee or entitle the customer to a refund of our services.
  • Non-returnable Parts- Customers are responsible for the cost of any non-returnable parts that are installed on an appliance. This includes instances where the customer may decline additional repairs, after the non-returnable parts are installed. ("Control boards" are always a non-returnable part.)
  • Rates- We do not double-dip. A service charge is owed to diagnose the appliance. Repairs are flat rate prices depending on the type of repairs needed. Customers owe a service charge after diagnoses, only if repairs are declined, or the unit is not repairable. If the quote is approved, the quote will include labor and parts only. 
  • Part Ordering- When repairs are approved for an appliance (where parts need to be ordered) customers are required to pay half of the quote given, before parts are ordered. This ensures that both parties "have a hat in the ring." 
  • Safety- We will not service locations or appliances that are a hazard to our technicians, as we reserve the right to refuse service. For example: infestation, hoarder houses, etc. 
  • Home Warranty Repair Warranty-Appliance Tech of East Texas LLC warranty does not apply to repairs contracted under a home warranty policy. Any repairs made under your home warranty are warrantied by them.
  • Plumbing and Electrical- Plumbing and electrical faults are to be seen as the homeowners responsibility, as it is the homeowners responsibility to keep their plumbing and electrical well maintained. Appliance Tech of East Texas LLC will not be liable for failures of homeowner's plumbing and electrical, or the damage that may incur, when they are being used or operated by us for their indented purposes. For example: Tripping a breaker, plugging into or removing a plug from an electrical outlet, turning water supply valve off/on, operating a sink, ect.
